Identifying Needs and Objectives: The design process begins by recognizing the need for a stylish and comfortable bootie for infants that keeps them dry and comfortable during all seasons. As well as creating a mood around the new style.
Material Selection: High-quality leather is chosen for the upper to ensure durability and style. Thorough testing ensures that the materials selected meet the highest standards for comfort and functionality.
Functionality: Features such as the GORETEX lining are incorporated to enhance functionality.
User-Centered Design: An easy-to-use Velcro closure is integrated to facilitate putting on and taking off the bootie, considering the convenience of parents and caregivers as well as children. Most day-cares and kindergartens in Denmark require functional footwear for children to be able to wear their shoes without help.
Prototype Development and Testing: Prototypes of the bootie are created and rigorously tested for durability, comfort, style and fit. Feedback from parents and caregivers is collected to refine the fit further
